Symbol for the Mie Perfecture of Japan
|
The Mie Prefecture is from the Kansai region of Japan, with it's capital being the city of Tsu. It is on the biggest of Japan's four main islands, Honshu.
It is home to the Meoto Iwa, The Ise shrines, and more! The Ise, Shima, Iga, and Kii provinces were Mei, before the Meiji restoration. Humans have lived there for over 10,000 years. The Mie prefecture is in the shape of what looks like a dagger, and is even home to one of two ninja schools in japan. This may just be coincidence, but it's a very good one. It is east of the Kii peninsula and borders a few of the other prefectures. |
